Kids at Viru Kekulu pre-school, Kandy had their Annual Sports Meet at the pre-school premises in Kandy on Tuesday (5).
All the students in the pre-school participated in various sports activities including tricycle races, obstacle races, team events and drill display’s during the meet organized by Mrs. Premani Weerakoon, the administrator in charge of the Viru Kekulu pre-school.
President Seva Vanitha Army Branch (SVAB) Mrs. Manjulika Jayasuriya graced the occasion as Chief Guests in the company of Mrs Deepthi Wijerathne, the officer in charge of pre-school projects, Senior SVAB members, General Officer Commanding 11 Division Major General A.M. Perera, Senior Army Officers, parents and teachers. On arrival Mrs. Jayasuriya was warmly received by Mrs. Shiranthi Perera.
The day’s event, filled with fun and sports ended with a physical training display.
The Chief Guest gave away prizes for the kids who participated in the day’s events.
