Japanese Envoy Meets Jaffna Commander

Head of the Security Section in the Embassy of Japan for Sri Lanka, Mr. Junji Asaba during a visit to the northern peninsula, paid a courtesy call on Major General Darshana Hettiarachchi, Commander, Security Forces - Jaffna (SF-J) on Thursday (15) at the latter's office in Palaly, Jaffna.

The cordial discussion that followed focused on the military commitment towards the ongoing reconciliation process and the military involvement in the field of social welfare and community services.
