Jaffna Troops Launch Beach Cleaning Programme in Sakkotte

Showing commitment and concern towards the environment, troops of the 4 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment of the 52 Infantry Division of 521 Infantry Brigade under command to the Security Force HQ- Jaffna coordinating with other responsible government agencies in the area launched a beach cleaning programme with the aim of preserving the spectacular Sakkote beach patch in Jaffna from pollution on 01 September 2023.

Officers, troops, policemen from Point Pedro Police Station and the Point Pedro Divisional Council personnel provided resources to the event.
