Jaffna Troops Facilitate Devotees Attending Temple Festival

Troops of the Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna (SFHQ-J) facilitated the successful conduct of the annual festival of the Rajarajeshwari Hindu Temple, situated inside the Palaly Army Cantonment, Jaffna. The festival began on 1st October continued until Tuesday (11).

Troops on the directions of Major General Mahesh Senanayaka, Commander, Security Forces - Jaffna, provided drinking water, transport, medicine and other basic facilities to the devotees during the conduct of main poojas. Hundreds of devotees attended the final climax on Tuesday (11) and paid their homage to the deities.

Troops erected water tanks, mobile medical units and carried the devotees who came for offerings in busses up and down.
