Troops of the Security Forces-Jaffna constructed one more new house for a deserving family at Kovilvayal, Iyakachchi with financial support jointly given by a couple of philanthropists and donors.
To coincide with the Sinhala and Tamil New Year, it was formally handed over to the beneficiary, Mrs Velusami Sanadini, a widow with children on Tuesday (13) amid Hindu religious rites and rituals.

12 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment troops contributed their technical expertise and skilled labour to the construction under the careful supervision of the Commander 552 Brigade.
