Troops serving the 64 Division under the Security Force Headquarters - Mullaithivu (SFHQ-MLT) recently, organized a blood donation camp, in response to a request made by the Blood Bank at Jaffna Teaching Hospital at the main dressing station of the 64 Division Headquarters premises.
Officers and other ranks of the 64 Division during the arrangement donated more than 150 pints of blood in view of the shortage that prevails in the North’s biggest teaching hospital. Medical Officers at Jaffna Teaching Hospital Blood Bank spearheaded the programme.
