Jaffna Commander Makes Courtesy Visits

The Commander Security Forces-Jaffna, Major General D.B.S.N Bothota RWP RSP USP psc met the District Secretary Mr A Sivabalasundran, Chief Secretary for Jaffna, Mr S.M Saman Bandulasena, Ven Meegahajandure Siri Wimala Thero, the Chief Incumbent at Sri Nagavihara and the Chief Incumbent of Navatkuli Temple on 29 May 2023 and briefed them about progress of Army-engaged development projects.

On the same day, Major General Bothota visited the St. John Bosco School and evaluated the progress of renovations and constructions, being carried out by troops of the Security Force HQ-Jaffna.

During his visits, the Commander exchanged views on further promotion of reconciliation between the troops and the civil community.
