Jaffna Commander Begins to Build Two Houses for the Underprivileged

Major General Priyantha Perera, Commander, Security Forces - Jaffna on Wednesday (7) laid the cornerstone for construction of two new houses for needy families.

Took part in the foundation laying ceremony for construction of new two houses for Mr. Arumailingam Jenadas and Mr. Ramesh Rajakumar and their families in Keerimalai and Uduvil, Jaffna.

Ministry of Buddha Sasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs and National Housing Development Authority will jointly bear the financial cost of the raw materials while Army troops of the 10 Sri Lanka Artillery and 9 Sri Lanka Light Infantry Regiment troops would offer technical expertise and manpower for both constructions.

Under the supervision of the Commanders of the 515 Brigade and 511 Brigade, troops will provide needed manpower for erection of both houses.

After the foundation-laying ceremony, the Commander Security Forces Jaffna distributed dry ration packs and stationeries among children of housing beneficiaries.

General Officer Commanding 51 Division, Commanders of 511, 512 and 513 Brigades, Senior Officers, Divisional Secretary - Chankanai, Regional Manager for National Housing Development Authority, Government Officials and troops of the Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna were also present during this ceremony.latest jordan Sneakers | Nike - Sportswear - Nike Tracksuits, Jackets & Trainers
