To coincide with the International Yoga Day, a series of workshops were conducted under the supervision of the office of the Consulate General of India, Shri Raakesh Natraj in the Jaffna peninsula on Wednesday (21 June).
The Commander Security Forces - Jaffna, Major General S.R.K Hettiarachchi RWP RSP VSV USP ndu psc, participated in the main programme, together with the 512 Infantry Brigade Commander, Brigadier L.G.J.N Ariyathilake RWP RSP, Jaffna District Secretary, A. Sivabalasundaram, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Jaffna Professor S. Srisatkunarajah, government officials and over 1000 civilians in the area.
