ITC Plants 500 Saplings Inside the Camp Premises

The Infantry Training School (ITC) troops in Minneriya, in a mammoth project planted 500 saplings of rare species inside the ITC premises on Monday (5) as part of their environment conservation projects.

Central Finance Private Limited donated those saplings to the ITC. Commandant, ITC, Brigadier W.S.K Liyanawaduge RSP, together with Officers and Other Ranks of the ITC participated in the planting of saplings such as kumbuk, esala, mee, palu, etc.

Mr. Chaminda Rathnayake, Regional Manager of Central Finance also participated in the programme.
