ITC, Minneriya Concludes BSW Course No. 87 for Officers

The Battalion Support Weapon (BSW) Course No. 87 (2024/II) for 29 Officers at the Infantry Training Centre (ITC) in Minneriya, conducted from 01 August 2024 to 14 November 2024, concluded in a certificates awarding ceremony.

Colonel D. Sooriyarachchi RWP RSP, the Overlooking Commanding Officer of ITC, attended the final certificate and insignia awarding ceremony held on 14 November 2024.

The course was conducted with the participation of 29 Officers representing the Army, Navy, and Air Force. Captain W.C.R Kumara of the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment was awarded the Best Student of the Course.

The Chief Guest delivered the closing remarks before presenting certificates to the participants. Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
