Brigadier Chandana Ranaweera handed over the office of the Commandant, Infantry Training Centre (ITC) at Minneriya on Friday (March 10) after a brief ceremony arranged at the premises.
The outgoing Commandant addressed the troops and thanked them for their fullest support provided during his tenure. Furthermore, he closely interacted with the troops and shared a couple of thoughts with them, prior to his departure.
He has now been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer, Nelum Pokuna, Mahinda Rajapakse Theatre, Colombo 07.
