The Military Attaché at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Colombo, Colonel Homaoun Ali Yari paid a courtesy visit to the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage RWP RSP ndu on Tuesday (15 Aug) at the Army Headquarters.
Both of them during the cordial interactive meeting that followed exchanged views on matters of bilateral importance and security interests between both countries and other concerns of mutual relevance.
Towards the end of the brief interaction, Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage awarded a memento to Colonel Homaoun Ali Yari as a token of goodwill and understanding. The gesture was reciprocated.
