The Institute of Peace Support Operations Training Sri Lanka (IPSOTSL) in a timely-arranged project with sponsorship received from Lions Club, distributed dry ration packs, each valued at Rs. 5000/= among 100 needy families living in Makeliella and Kosgulana areas on Saturday (November 18) at the IPSOTSL premises.
On a conceptual notion of Brigadier C.A Rajapaksha RSP, the Commandant, IPSOTSL, the Lions Club of Peliyagoda offered sponsorship for the relief project. The Commandant, IPSOTSL and President of Lions Club - Peliyagoda coordinated the project considering the economic hardships of the civilians in the area.
Brigadier C.A Rajapaksha RSP graced the distribution as the Chief Guest. Members of the Lions Club, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks were present during the distribution event.
