The Inter Regiment Water Ball championship got underway at the Army the gymnasium swimming pool during 27-28 November in the presence of a gathering of sports fans and players. It was held under two categories as 'open' and 'novices'.
The championship (open category) was secured by the Sri Lanka Engineers (SLE) and the runner-up slot went to the Gajaba Regiment (GR) while the championship (novices) was grabbed by Gajaba Regiment troops.
