6 Sri Lanka Armoured Corps (6 SLAC) arranged its Unit Symposium themed ‘The National Security and Operational Readiness of the Current Armoured Fleet of Sri Lanka Armoured Corps, and the Employment of Armour in Counter-Insurgency Scenarios’ on 26 January 2024. Major General K.M.P.S.B Kulatunga RSP ndc psc, the General Officer Commanding, 54 Infantry Division, presided over the event.
The first session delved into ‘The National Security and Operational Readiness of the Current Armoured Fleet of Sri Lanka Armoured Corps’, while the second session explored the critical theme of ‘Employment of Armour in Counter-Insurgency Scenarios’.
Later that evening, 6 SLAC hosted a Diners’ Club event, where Colonel M.B.B.N Herath RSP, the Director of Media & Spokesperson at the Ministry of Defence, delivered a valuable presentation on ‘The Spirit of Leadership through a Third Lens’ to the gathering.
Senior Officers and Officers of SLAC participated in the event.
