India’s NDC Delegates Meet Commander at AHQ

A Nine-member delegation of India’s National Defence College (NDC), led by Rear Admiral Sanjaya Sachdeva, Directing Strategy, Concept and Transformations currently on a five-day (27-31 Aug) study tour as part of the NDC curriculum on Monday (28) called at the Army Headquarters to pay courtesies to the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage RWP RSP ndu.

Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage during his brief and cordial interactive meeting with Rear Admiral Sanjaya Sachdeva (NM SDS (Navy) ndc), Brigadier Rajat Kumar, Brigadier Anuj Kalia VSM and Air Commodore Ashish Srivastava VM VSM, shared views on training modules and the importance of exchange of experience with neighbourly military organizations.

In a rare coincidence, the head of the Indian delegation, Rear Admiral Sanjaya Sachdeva (NM SDS (Navy) ndc), happened to be a coursemate of Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage when he was following the National Defence University Course in Indonesia several years ago.

Towards the end of the cordial meeting, the Commander of the Army and Rear Admiral Sanjaya Sachdeva NM SDS (Navy) ndc exchanged mementoes as symbols of goodwill.

Major General M.G.W.W.W.M.C.B Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc, Director General General Staff and Brigadier P.K.S Nandana RSP USP psc were also associated with the discussion.
