Indian Peace Keeping Force (IPKF) War Heroes who laid their lives for peace in our country were commemorated at Palaly IPKF Monument on Saturday (26) on account of 70th Indian Republic Day.
Mr S. Balachandran, Consul General of India in Jaffna, together with Brigadier Ajith Elwatte, Brigadier Administration and Quartering at the Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna (SFHQ-J) on behalf of the Jaffna Commander, paid tribute to those fallen Jawans by placing flower wreaths at the monument.
