DIRECTOR General, Indian National Cadet Corps (NCC) Lieutenant General R.K Karwal currently in Sri Lanka in connection with several military ceremonies called on Commander of the Army Lieutenant General Jagath Jayasuriya Wednesday (21) morning at his office in the Army Headquarters.
Lieutenant General R.K Karwal, accompanied by his wife Mrs. Karwal is presently in the island following invitations extended to them by Ministry of Defence in connection with the conduct of Hermann Loos and De Soysa Camps at National Cadet Corps Training Centre at Rantambe.
Lieutenant General Karwal spoke to the Commander and learnt more about recently concluded military operations and other matters of mutual interest. Towards the end of the brief meeting, both Commander and the visiting delegate exchanged mementoes with the Army Commander.
Defence Attaché to the Indian High Commission in Sri Lanka Captain Pradeep Sing of Indian Navy was also present.
