The new Defence Attaché at High Commission of India in Colombo, Captain Vikas Sood paid a courtesy call on the Chief of Defence Staff, Commander of the Army and Head of the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO), Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva at the Army Headquarters Monday (27) morning.
The visiting new Defence Attaché had a cordial exchange of views with Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva on matters of mutual interest and relevance to both countries. Exchange of mementos as symbols of goodwill and understanding, brought the day’s cordial meeting to culmination at the Commander’s office.
Prior to his departure, the visiting Captain Vikas Sood, Defence Attaché at High Commission of India inquired into the COVID-19 status quo in Sri Lanka as well from the Head of the NOCPCO.
