Lieutenant Colonel Puneet Sushil, Assistant Defence Advisor at the High Commission of India in Sri Lanka paid a courtesy visit to the Security Force Headquarters - Wanni (SFHQ-W) on Wednesday (29).
Lieutenant Colonel Puneet Sushil was warmly welcomed by Brigadier General Staff at SFHQ-Wanni and Staff Officers of the SFHQ-Wanni, before the Assistant Defence Advisor called on Major General Champaka Ranasinghe, Commander, SF -W at the Commander’s office.
During this meeting, they exchanged views on the role of SFHQ-Wanni with focus on security, community development, civil-military cooperation, prevention of illegal narcotic trading, etc.
Upon conclusion of the discussion, the visiting Assistant Defence Advisor penned a few words and compliments in the Visitors’ Book.
An exchange of symbolic mementoes brought the cordial meeting to an end.
