Lieutenant Colonel Puneet Sushil, Assistant Defence Advisor at the High Commission of India in Sri Lanka during his visit to the Northern province reached the Security Force Headquarters - Mullaittivu (SFHQ-MLT) on Friday (31).
Lieutenant Colonel Puneet Sushil was warmly welcomed by Major General Darshana Wijesekara, Commander, SF - MLT and Brigadier General Staff of SF - W before they had cordial interactions at the Commander’s office.
During this meeting, they exchanged views on diversified roles of the SFHQ-MLT with focus on security, community development, civil-military cooperation, prevention of illegal narcotic trading, etc.
Towards the end of the cordial meeting, symbolic mementoes were exchanged and the visiting Assistant Defence Advisor penned a few words and compliments in the Visitors’ Book.
