Indian Assistant Defence Adviser Strengthening Bilateral Ties with Sri Lanka

Lieutenant Colonel Mandeep Singh Negi, SM, the recently-appointed Assistant Defence Adviser at the High Commission of India in Colombo Friday (05 Jan) morning extended courtesies to the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage RWP RSP ndu at the Army Headquarters.

During the ensuing interactive discussion, Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage shared insightful thoughts with the new Assistant Defence Adviser. Both of them acknowledged the long-standing bonds of goodwill, cooperation, and understanding between the armed forces of their respective countries.

To conclude the cordial meeting, Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage presented a special memento to the Assistant Defence Adviser as a symbol of the Sri Lanka Army's goodwill. Lieutenant Colonel Mandeep Singh Negi, SM warmly responded to the gesture, acknowledging the goodwill extended by the Army Chief.
