Lieutenant Colonel Mandeep Singh Negi SM, the Assistant Defence Adviser at the High Commission of India in Colombo, paid a courtesy visit to the 1 Corps Headquarters on 02 February 2024.
Major General S.B Amunugama RWP RSP ndu, Commander of 1 Corps, warmly welcomed Lieutenant Colonel Mandeep Singh Negi SM. The cordial interaction between both parties involved discussions on the role of 1 Corps, focusing on security, community development and civil-military cooperation.
Towards the end, an exchange of mementoes marked the conclusion of this amicable interaction. Brigadier General Staff of 1 Corps also took part in the event.
