Indian Assistant Defence Adviser Enhances Bilateral Ties through Official Visit

Lieutenant Colonel Mandeep Singh Negi SM, the Assistant Defence Adviser at the High Commission of India in Colombo, made a courtesy visit to the Security Force Headquarters - Wanni (SFHQ-Wanni) on Wednesday (31 Jan).

Major General W.P.A.D.W Nanayakkara RSP VSV USP ndu, Commander, Security Forces - Wanni, warmly welcomed Lieutenant Colonel Mandeep Singh Negi SM. The cordial interaction between both the parties involved discussions on the role of SFHQ-Wanni, with a focus on security, community development, civil-military cooperation and the issue of illegal narcotic trading.

After the fruitful discussion, the visiting Assistant Defence Adviser shared complimentary remarks in the visitors’ book. The exchange of mementoes marked the conclusion of this amicable meeting.
