The Military, Naval and Air Force Attaché of the Embassy of Senegal in India, accredited to Sri Lanka, Colonel Abdoulaye Traore on Friday (9) paid a courtesy call on Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage, Commander of the Army at the Army Headquarters.
During the interactions, Colonel Abdoulaye Traore exchanged views on bilateral cooperation and general matters of concern to both countries. The meeting also paved the way for both to further enhance goodwill and share knowledge on military matters. The brief but the cordial meeting culminated with exchange of mementos.
Colonel Abdoulaye Traore is also presently following the 5th Defence Attaché Orientation Course in Defence and Diplomacy at Sir John Kotalawala Defence University (KDU) in Sri Lanka.
