The recently built guard room and entrance door of the 1 Sri Lanka Rifle Corps (SLRC) were officially inaugurated by Major General R.M.M. Ranasinghe WWV RWP RSP, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 11 Infantry Division, on 25 May 2024.
Upon arrival, the Senior Officer was warmly welcomed by the Commanding Officer of the 1 SLRC. Afterwards, the GOC was accorded a guard turnout by the troops. He then officially opened the entrance by symbolically cutting a ribbon.
Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
