The long-awaited 'Field View' Holiday Bungalow was inaugurated on Monday (13) at the Engineer Services Central Workshop premises in Habarakada. Major General A.H.L.G Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc, the Director General Financial Management and Colonel Commandant of Corps of Engineer Services (CES), graced the occasion as the chief guest.
This project was initiated to provide accommodation facilities for Officers, Other Ranks and their families visiting for medical services and administrative needs from the Panagoda Cantonment, camps, and other facilities in Colombo area.
'Field View' became a reality in less than 4 months, with the commitment, dedication and skills of troops of CES. Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the occasion.
