Impressed Expatriates Donate Cash Gift to ‘Itukama’ Fund

A total of 113 Sri Lankan expatriates who underwent the 14-day long quarantine process at Army-managed improvised Rajagiriya Ayurvedic Teaching Hospital Quarantine Centre, impressed with the commendable role of Army personnel at this Quarantine Centre donated a cash gift of Rs 825,000/= to be credited to the ‘Itukama’ COVID-19 Healthcare and Social Security Fund this morning (24) before they left the place.

Those 113 Australia-based expatriates were housed at this Quarantine Centre under the supervision of the Security Force Headquarters - West.

After receipt of quarantine certificates on the eve of their departure, they collectively made this cash donation to Major General Wasantha Madola, Logistic Commander for onward arrangements.
