Impressed with Army Quarantine, Private Donor Gifts Protective Kits

Lithuania-manufactured stock of those kits, valued over US $ 5000/= is capable of resisting infectious bacteria, chemical and biological reactions, viral infections and basically all vulnerable contamination risks. The donation was coordinated by Brigadier Sisira Pilapitiya, Director Personnel Administration at the Army Headquarters in coordination with the donors.

The same company earlier donated 25 more of those body protection kits to the Infectious Disease Hospital (IDH) at Mulleriyawa soon after the stock was brought down to Sri Lanka.

Lieutenant General Silva thanked the donors for their appreciative gesture and the confidence they have towards the Army.

Mr Agustin Portillo, Director and General Manager Ansell Lanka, Mr Tissa Talagune, Senior Manager, HR, Mr Tyrell Clifford, Senior Manager, Supply Chain and Mr Dharshana Abayaweera, Senior Manager, R & D of Ansell Lanka were present during the occasion.
