As part of the 'Clean Sri Lanka Programme' initiated under the vision of His Excellency the President, a cleaning initiative was conducted under the guidance of Major General K.J.N.M.P.K Nawaratne RWP RSP ndu, the General Officer Commanding 14 Infantry Division and the supervision of Brigadier B.Y.C Fernando RWP USP, the Commander 144 Infantry Brigade on 11th January 2025.
This programme included a garbage removal and cleaning effort along both sides of Denzil Kobbekaduwa Road. The cleaning programme was held from 0600 a.m. to 0800 a.m., with the participation of 02 Officers and 74 Other Ranks from the 144 Infantry Brigade.
This initiative highlights the commitment of the Sri Lanka Army towards the success of the government initiative.
