Human Resource Development Workshop for 23 Div Troops Held

Troops of the 23 Division of the Security Force Headquarters - East (SFHQ-E) organized a workshop on ‘Human Resource Development’ in collaboration with scholars from the University of Peradeniya under the themes ‘Employee Discipline Management’, ‘Grievance Handling’, ‘Safety Management’ and ‘Career Management’. It was conducted at the 23 Division Headquarters on Wednesday (28).

Head of the Department of Business & Finance, Faculty of Management, University of Peradeniya, Dr. Athula Ekanayake and the senior lecturers of the University of Peradeniya, Mr. Nagarajah Agilan, Mr. Amila Bandara and Mr. Sameera Fernando contributed to the full-day workshop.

42 Officers enthusiastically participated in the programme, meant to upgrade the knowledge of the participants. General Officer Commanding, 23 Division, Brigadier B.V.D.P Abeynayaka has extended his support to the event.

Human Resource Development is the framework for helping employees to develop their personal and organizational skills, knowledge, and abilities. It includes such opportunities as employee training, employee career development, performance management, succession planning, key employee identification, and organization development, etc.
