Hqrs West Goes with Solar Power

Troops of the Security Force Headquarters - West (SFHQ - West) launched a solar power project at the Army Cantonment, Panagoda under instructions of Major General Sudantha Ranasinghe, Commander, SFHQ - West on Thursday (28).

A total of 26 solar power street lamps, designed to suit the German technology were set up around the Army Cantonment, Panagoda.

Major General Sudantha Ranasinnghe, Commander, SFHQ - West ceremonially switched on lights. 

Several senior officers, officers and other ranks witnessed the event.
