To be in line with the Commander’s concept for provision of the best health care for all in the Army, one more round of the ongoing ‘Healthy Army Healthy Nation’ (HAHN) project of the Directorate of Army Medical Services, came to the Army Headquarters on Wednesday (3).
Dr Janaki Kodikara, Health Education Officer from Health Education Bureau of the Ministry of Health who spoke to a representative gathering of officers and soldiers at the Army Headquarters, educated them on sexual transmitting diseases, AIDS, dietary habits, non communicable diseases, correct conduct, stress, physical fitness, mental disorders, etc.
A few hundreds of troops at the Army Headquarters listened to the three-hour long lecture with enthusiasm. Several senior officers from the Directorate of Medical Services were present at the arrangement.
