Head of NDC Delegation Calls on Commander of the Army

Major General P.K  Goswami VSM SDS,  Head of India’s National Defence College (NDC) delegation, now visiting Sri Lanka called on the Commander of the Army Lieutenant General Jagath Jayasuriya on Monday (3) morning at his office at the Army Headquarters.

Lieutenant General Jagath Jayasuriya after welcoming him to the Army Headquarters had a cordial exchange of views with him on several matters of bilateral importance. During the meeting, Lieutenant General Jagath Jayasuriya did not forget to make inquiries about ongoing academic work at the NDC in India since Major General Goswami himself is a directing staff at the NDC.

The visiting head of the NDC team on behalf of delegation presented a symbolic memento to the Commander of the Army before his departure. Lieutenant General Jagath Jayasuriya reciprocated the gesture and invited the visiting NDC delegate to initial the VIP book as a token of memory of his visit to the Army Headquarters.   
   
The 15-member NDC delegation now in Sri Lanka on a study tour, as part of their college curriculum consists of Army, Navy and Air Force personnel studying at NDC. Officers belonging to US Navy, Vietnam Army and Nepal Army, in addition to Indian service personnel are also included in the delegation.
