26 Army troops including One Officer of the Security Force Headquarters – Central (SFHQ-C) took prompt action to arrest the spread of a wildfire that has erupted in Haldummulla, Mahawanguwa area in Badulla district on Friday morning (20).
After the incident was brought to notice, Major General Rukmal Dias, Commander, Security Forces – Central, directed those troops to immediately take necessary steps to bring the fire under control.
Meanwhile Security Force Headquarters – Central (SFHQ-C) troops brought another wild fire under control in the general area of Yahanwela in Badulla District on Friday evening (20).
