To coincide with the International Elders' Day, the ‘Healthy Army - Healthy Nation’ (HAHN) project at the Colombo Army Hospital held several programmes for retired War Heroes residing at the 'Veterans' Home' in Bolagala, Katana on Thursday (1).
Organized by the Senior Coordinator of the ‘Healthy Army - Healthy Nation’ project, the Consultant Physician Brigadier (Dr) A.S.M Wijewardena, the programme saw Colonel Lakmini Ranasinghe, Senior Medical Officer in the HAHN deliver the keynote address to the occasion, themed on “A Respect for Dear War Heroes”. The “International Inner Wheel Club” organized a tea party for the veterans, resident there.
Major J.M.C.B.R Bandara, Staff Officer - II, HAHN, and other HAHN members were also present at the occasion.
In addition, the Physical Instructor of the HAHN also introduced Physical Exercise activities to enhance the health of those elderly War Heroes and conducted a medical clinic by examining those aged inmates.Asics shoes | Nike Air Force 1 , Sneakers , Ietp STORE
