GW Soldiers Educated on STDs & Mental Well-being

Gemunu Watch (GW) Regimental Headquarters with the objective of educating Army personnel serving the Headquarters conducted two separate awareness programmes on 'Sexually Transmitted Diseases' (STDs), HIV and AIDS and on 'Spiritual, Mental and Physical Well-being' during February 14 - 15 at Kuruwita.

Consultant Specialist, Dr Darshani Mallikarachchi delivered the first day lecture on STDs while Major Samanthi Bandara, Instructor at Directorate of Psychological Operations did the talk on mental well-being, the following day (15).

A large gathering of Officers and Other Rankers attended both arrangements.
