Governor for Northern Province Calls at SFHQ - W

The Governor for Northern Province Hon. Jeewan Thiyagaraja paid a courtesy call on Major General Champaka Ranasinghe, Commander, Security Forces - Wanni on Monday (15) with the intention of familiarizing with security and development roles, being carried out in the Wanni.

After a warm welcome, Major General Champaka Ranasinghe had a round of discussion with the visiting Governor and explained the SFHQ-Wanni’s role towards social development and security arrangements in place with special focus on the series of welfare measures, meant for needy families.

Towards the end of the friendly interaction, Major General Ranasinghe awarded a memento to the visiting Governor as a token of goodwill.
