GOC, Engineer Division Undertakes Visit to 16 Workshop Regiment

The General Officer Commanding (GOC), Engineer Division, Major General D.K.S.K Dolage USP psc, undertook a significant visit to the 16 Workshop Regiment, Mattegoda on 29 January 2024.

Upon the Senior Officer’s arrival, he was warmly welcomed by the Commanding Officer, 16 Workshop Regiment, where a Guard Turnout marked the occasion with honor and respect. Following the reception, the GOC engaged in a comprehensive briefing led by the Commanding Officer, gaining insights into the Regiment's operations and accomplishments.

During his visit, the GOC planted a mango sapling in the Regiment's premises, symbolizing growth and prosperity. Culminating his visit, the GOC addressed the troops, imparting words of encouragement and heartfelt appreciation for their steadfast commitment to duty. Before departing, the GOC penned his commendations in the visitors’ book.
