GOC of Engineer Division Made Maiden Visit to 14 CBRNE Response Regiment

The General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Engineer Division, Major General D.K.S.K Dolage USP psc made his first official visit to 14 Chemical Biological Radiology Nuclear and Explosive (CBRNE) Response Regiment on 22 January 2024 at Mattegoda.

In accordance with military tradition, the GOC was warmly received by the Commanding Officer of the 14 CBRNE Regiment. Subsequently, the Commanding Officer presented a comprehensive briefing covering vital aspects such as the Regiment's role and tasks, organizational structure, training programs, strength, administration, and logistics.

Afterward, the GOC delivered troop address, emphasizing the duties and responsibilities of the Sappers in enhancing their value as a special unit in the contemporary scenario.

Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
