Major General M.S. Devapriya USP ndc, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of 64 Infantry Division, made a visit to the 5 (V) Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) on 19 March 2024.
The arriving Senior Officer was warmly welcomed by the Commanding Officer of 5 (V) SLSR and the troops presented a Guard Turnout at the entrance. During the troops address, the GOC emphasized the critical issue of soldiers being exposed to crimes prevalent in the country. He highlighted the detrimental consequences of such actions and outlined strategies to combat and eliminate these challenges.
The Commander, 642 Infantry Brigade, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks were present during the event.
