The new General Officer Commanding, 64 Division Brigadier Ajith Pallawala recently made his formal first visit to the 642 Brigade HQ upon assumption of office.
On arrival at the main entrance, he was warmly welcomed by Brigadier Prasanna Wijesuriya Commander, 642 Brigade. The day’s Chief Guest was greeted to a Guard Turnout at the entrance to the premises soon after his arrival in accordance with military traditions.
The day’s formalities at the Brigade Headquarters added more significance as the visiting Commander - 64 Division was invited to plant a sapling and address troops.
Brigadier Ajith Pallawala shared a few words with all ranks along with the Senior Officers, Commanding Officers. Finally, he left compliments in visitors' book before he left the camp.
