Major General W.M.P.M Wijesooriya RWP RSP ndu, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 57 Infantry Division, attended the Prefects’ Investiture Ceremony at St. Bernadette’s Model School, Polgahawela, on 3rd January 2025, as the Chief Guest, following an invitation from the school’s Principal.
The GOC, along with the Principal, formally pinned badges on the newly appointed prefects and addressed the gathering, emphasising the importance of leadership and how this initial step could guide students towards becoming future national leaders.
Principal, Staff of the School, Students, and Their Parents participated in the event.
