GOC 56 Infantry Division Visits 562 Infantry Brigade and Under-Command Battalions

Brigadier M.P.N.A Muthumala USP psc, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 56 Infantry Division, visited the 562 Infantry Brigade, 17 (V) Sri Lanka Light Infantry, and the 12 Sri Lanka Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment on 29 October 2024.

Upon arrival, the GOC was accorded a Guard Turnout and then warmly welcomed by the Commander of the 562 Infantry Brigade and Commanding Officers at each location.

During his visit, the GOC planted a sapling at each camp premises, followed by a troop address. At the end of the event, the GOC left complimentary remarks in the visitors' book. Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks participated in the visit.
