GOC 52 Infantry Division Provides Lunch to Pre-school Kids

Troops of the 52 Infantry Division under command to the Security Force HQ-Jaffna launched a programme to provide a free lunch treat to the kids learning in the Navatkuli ‘Virudaru’ Pre-school, Jaffna on Friday (31 March).

Navatkuli Virudaru Pre-school is the sole Tamil/Sinhala mixed pre-school in Navatkuli, inhabited largely by the Sinhalese. Major General Sanjeewa Fernando, General Officer Commanding, 52 Infantry Division along with his family members provided the financial contribution to the project.

Brigadier Subash Siriwardena, Commander, 523 Infantry Brigade, the spouse of Major General Sanjeewa Fernando, Senior Staff Officers of the 52 Infantry Division, Civil Affairs Officer and 11 Field Engineer Regiment troops participated in this programme.
