GOC - 23 Division Visits Army Base Hospital - Minneriya

Major General Shewanth Kulathunga, General Officer Commanding (GOC), 23 Infantry Division took time off to visit the Army Base Hospital, Minneriya (ABH) on Monday (23 Jan) with the intention of inquiring into the infrastructure and medical facilities of the hospital complex.

The visiting GOC was warmly welcomed by Major K.V.G Madusanka, acting Officer Commanding, ABH, Minneriya and introduced the medical staff of the hospital before conducting a comprehensive briefing on current infrastructure facilities, medical facilities and administration issues of the hospital.

Afterwards, the visiting Senior Officer inspected the hospital premises and spoke to the soldiers who were undergoing treatment for various illnesses and inquired into their well-being. Before concluding the day’s agenda, the GOC shared his valuable thoughts with the Officers and penned down his compliments in the Visitors’ Book.
