The recently-appointed Chief Field Engineer (CFE) of the Sri Lanka Army Major General A.H.L.G Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc on Thursday (15 June) visited the General Engineering Brigade located at Kachchigala prior to it being suppressed.
The Chief Field Engineer was warmly received by Brigadier T.C Peiris RSP USP, Commander of General Engineering Brigade before he was accorded a Guard Turnout at the entrance. Afterwards, the Chief Field Engineer addressed the Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks at the General Engineering Brigade appreciating admirable services, rendered by the Brigade, especially in nation-building tasks and emphasized the importance of continuing the same once they are deployed on other tasks in the future elsewhere.
Commander of the General Engineering Brigade, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks were present at the location.
