General Daya Rathnayake (Rtd) Calls on Army Chief

General R.M Daya Ratnayake (Rtd), WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndu psc, the 20th Commander of the Army and one of the most senior veterans in the Sri Lanka Light Infantry Regiment this morning (28 August) paid a courtesy call on Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage RWP RSP ndu, Commander of the Army at the Army HQ.

The Army Chief during the brief interactive meeting with the former Army Chief recalled the retired Senior Officer’s valuable contribution to the Army holding varied and responsible appointments during his career of more than 35 years. The visiting Senior Officer thanked the Army Chief for organizing the meet and wished him good luck before his departure.
