Gemunu Watch Wins Army Para Archery Championship

The finals of the Army Inter Regiment Para Archery Tournament was held at the Regimental Headquarters Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) in Ambepussa on Wednesday (24) evening.

Brigadier B.A.L Ratnayake, Centre Commandant, SLSR graced the occasion as the Chief Guest where 6 Para Archery teams vied for the championship.

Gemunu Watch (GW) defeated the SLSR team to secure the trophy as Army Para Archery Champions for 2015.

Brigadier H.R Wickramasinghe, Center Commandant, Sri Lanka Medical Corps and the Chairman, Sri Lanka National Archery Association and Para Archery Committee, together with members of the Para Archery Committee, officers and other ranks witnessed the finals.
